We arrived home from our vacation a few short days ago.
I spent my first day home grocery shopping and unpacking several bags of luggage.
I was exhausted at the end of the day.
While shopping, I found this bouquet of Smoke Bush.
I spent my first day home grocery shopping and unpacking several bags of luggage.
I was exhausted at the end of the day.
While shopping, I found this bouquet of Smoke Bush.
I fell in love with its deep, rich hues. Its leaves change colors in the afternoon and evening sunlight.
Our sweet neighbor, who cared for my house plants while we were away, brought me these beautiful white pumpkins yesterday.
Although I haven't begun decorating for Fall yet, I know that they will find the perfect place to spend the season.
Now that we've settled after our long trip, I will begin decorating for the Fall season.
I'm looking forward to sharing our home with you next week.
LET'S STAY in touch!

I change my dining room tablecloths monthly/seasonally . . . and made this burlap tablecloth specifically for the End-of-Summer. You'll see it in other photographs on my blog if you look around at other posts.

Good morning Suzanne, Your simple choices for this lovely table are perfect for a crisp fall day. The burlap table cloth is charming contrasted with your beautiful white china and the white pumpkins. I love the chargers, they add a nice structural element to a table setting.

In the yard next door, they cut down the smoke bush and I was devastated. I have to get one for my garden now, especially since I've seen your post featuring its beauty. Love all the white -- very elegant yet toned down by the gorgeous burlap tablecloth.

I had never seen Smoke Bush until last week. Their deep, rich beauty instantly caught my eye.
I would love to see a real smoke bush growing in a garden. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the sunlight. I think I'm going to have to Google it :0)
